Sleazy Surrounding

I noticed the two car park entrance between the Sunny Spring condo and the Waterina are always jammed & congested with irate drivers!
This is further exacerbated by the fact that many cars parked illegally outside Sunny Spring waiting for their "loved ones". Sad to say, outside Sunny Spring entrance, one would always notice many "working lady" waiting to be picked up, especially in the afternoon/evening and at nights. A great place to check out expensive and posh cars waiting outside with loud engines! I recommend this building for: and .

Don't be deceived by address

Having seen a few properties in Geylang, the Waterina's probably the best. The rooms are large, the swimming pool is of Olympic length, the ground are filled with green spaces and very well maintained. It's windy and walking distance to 2 MRT stations and tenants are of the right mix, not like some other condos nearby. The only drawback is that it's on the flight path of paya lebar airbase, but flights don't happen ever day.
I recommend this building for:
Mixed Uses (e.g. Office/Shopping/Cinema/Hotel/Flat),
Convention/Exhibition and
Commercial/School.

Geylang Geylang!

This estate has pretty nice facilities (pool) with a mixture group of tenants and owners, with more than half are foreigners.
The estate can be pretty noisy. Kids running around. The Iron Birds from the air force made it worst, day and night. What i cannot stand is even at night, fighter jets flew past as late as 10pm.
For those residing at the blocks along lor 40 or Gullimard Rd, they have to endure additional 24x7 traffic noise as well.
Those facing the canel, may be "smelly" too, with absolutely no view.
Although I kinda like some of the convenience living here, the noise is exceeding my tolerance of decibles. Regreted renting a place here. Should have done my research thoroughly. I recommend this building for: Mixed Uses (e.g. Office/Shopping/Cinema/Hotel/Flat), Convention/Exhibition and .

The routine/daily fly past of RSAF fighter planes is a nuisance. Sometimes in the evening and at nights.
The lorong 40 is crowded and congested with illegal parking, causing errant drivers to honk, even at night.
The cohort is 40-50% foreign expats. Tenants always changing, but the condo facilities are well maintained and reasonable.
You will like it for its proximity to city and MRT, but the geylang address and noise are a big consideration. I recommend this building for: Mixed Uses (e.g. Office/Shopping/Cinema/Hotel/Flat), Convention/Exhibition and .

Great potential, Don't get deceive by address

7 mins walk to Paya Lebar MRT, accompanied by the upcoming PL Business Hub. Good school such as Kong Hwa Primary around vicinity & a new Connector Park is currently in construction, will be completed by 2013. Decent & peacefully condo environment & suitable for families of all ages.

Good value

great location (5-10min drive to city hall area).. being the area furthest from the noisy lorongs, it's away from all the seedy crowd.. tucked in a quiet corner of geylang.. not a prob for families with kids.. facilites are very well-maintained for a 5-yr old condo.. spacious pool and gym (unlike the miserably tiny ones at some condos).. unfortunately no tennis court.. parking lots are big and plenty... saw quite a number of foreigners (causasians, koreans etc), might be a popular choice for those who work in town.. good value given that surrounding condos on the other side of guillemard road more costly

a great place to come home to.. clean, serene, tranquil environment.. great pool, big function room, sufficient bbq pits but gym alittle small n no tennis court.. however there's ample parking lots and mrt is pretty near.. only let down is geylang address.

Pity address is Geylang, I see red

By most counts, a great condo, fairly new, very near MRT but for the red-light district. However, this is fairly compensated by good schools nearby, esp Kong Hwa.

10mins drive to city, those pool facing units are nice, quiet and tranquil. Facilities incl lap pool, gym, clubhouse but w/o tennis court. Another plu point will be ample parking lots.
